RETREATS

The unparalleled venue for the therapeutic journey is nature

The natural world is a mirror. In it, we recognize the devastation we feel in ourselves: burned remnants of a forest. In it, we also connect to our beauty and resilience: buds pushing through soil in spring, clear blue sky reflected in a still alpine lake. Deep within the reprieve of wilderness, we can tend the shadow aspects of ourselves, bring them to light, and integrate them. We rediscover wholeness.

NATURE

For this reason, I facilitate therapeutic nature retreats where we explore interpersonal dynamics like consent and healthy differentiation (maintaining individuality in intimate relationships).

DEEP REST

Additionally, I lead deep rest nature retreats that revolve around resetting the nervous system, so it feels safe to unwind and profoundly rejuvenate. A potent antidote to our cultural norm of overfunctioning and burnout is deep rest — which is hard to prioritize in our day-to-day lives.

GRIEF

I also specialize in grief retreats, which integrate reflection and ritual to process individual and collective grief. In our lives, grief can manifest as collective loss carried through generations, historical traumas, cultural upheavals, and ancestral pain. There is also disenfranchised grief (unacknowledged and dismissed by society), anticipatory grief (what future generations will experience), and environmental grief (our disconnect from nature). Processing these many faces of grief in nature is incredibly powerful and effective.
